Partly discipline, partly compulsion

Streets in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts were largely deserted yesterday as an indefinite curfew was in force in these three districts which have been cited as high risk districts following scrambles in market places on Tuesday when the previous curfew was lifted for eight hours. While there were very few people on streets large majority of them stayed indoors, may be partly due to discipline and partly by compulsion by the situation.
