Passenger on wheel chair arrested with intoxicants

A passenger on a wheel chair who arrived from Bangkok on Saturday night (09) was arrested at the airport by the Customs Narcotic Control Unit when he attempted to exit through the Green Channel, for having in his possession a stock of the illegal intoxicant called Kush.   

Under interrogation he revealed that the market value of the stock of contraband intoxicant was about Rs. 40 million.   

Investigations revealed that the 58 year old suspect was a resident of Maradana in Colombo. He was handed over to the Police Anti-Narcotics Bureau for further action.
