People’s Bank commemorates Independence day

The Nugegoda branch of the People’s Bank presented gifts for newborns at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital yesterday, in line with the commemoration of the 72nd Independence day. The event was held under the patronage of the People’s Bank Deputy Director G.P.R. Jayasinghe, Assistant Provincial Manager Madhawa Surak and Nugegoda Branch Manager Lakshman Jayawardana. The Director of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital Dr. Rathnasiri A Hewage and Professor S. D. Jayaratne Professor of Medicine at University of Sri Jayewardenepura also participated at the event.
