Police raid brothel in Dehiwela

Five suspects including four women and another individual were taken into custody by Mount Lavinia Police during a raid on a brothel in Dehiwala town. Police said the suspect women had been engaging in prostitution and that the other individual running the brothel.   

Investigations revealed that four women between the ages of 20, and 27 years hailed from Bandaragama, Imbulgoda, and Ratmalana . Police said women had been procured for varying prices between Rs.1000 and 1800.   A police team under SI Randima had carried out the raid on the instructions of HQI Dileep C, Perera, and SSP Rohan Premaratne.
