SJB stage protest against 20th Amendment

The Movement for 19+ and opposition MPs yesterday took an oath near the statue of late Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera to safeguard the 19th Amendment to the constitution which curtailed the powers of Executive President and to defeat the move to enact the 20th Amendment. The opposition MPs then staged a protest against the 20th Amendment carrying placards and slogans.
