State Minister of Foreign Employment and Deputy Secretary of Sri Lanka Freedom Party Jagath Pushpakumara said the next government would be formed by the SLFP and whoever becomes President the Prime Minister would be appointed from the SLFP,   Addressing the SLFP rally at Wellawaya Public Playground on Saturday (29) he said there was no room for any misgiving that the people would vote the SLFP led alliance into power.

“ In 2009 Uva Wellassa experienced a political Tsunami. The individuals who promised to develop Uva Wellassa became billionaires and owned hundreds of acres of land and built palatial houses. The SLFP was responsible for implementing Handapanagala scheme, Uma Oya project and several medium and small scale irrigation schemes to cultivate thousands of acres.

The individuals who boasted about building 10,000 tanks and reservoirs only set fire to the agrarian development centres and destroyed state property. The havoc caused by them resulted in the present burden of debts.” He further said.

State Ministers Chamara Dasanayake, S.Viyalendran, Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Parliamentarians W.D.J. Seneviratne, Sanura Priyadarshana Yapa, Nimal Lanza, Sudath Manjula, Udayashantha Gunathileka, Ali Sabri Raheem and Jagath Priyantha.
