Sajith rules out political marriage with RW

• Says will never ally with those who destroyed nation
• Pledges to come up with a private sector workers’ charter if elected to power

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday ruled out an alliance with his rival Ranil Wickremesinghe.    “The RW camp and the camp led by Anura Kumara Dissanayake are spreading so many fake news today. They say we in Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) are to get into a political marriage. This is totally false. We will never ally with those who destroyed this nation,” Mr. Premadasa told a rally in Galle.    “The Ranil camp and NPP can form an alliance if they want, “Mr. Premadasa added.   

“We in the SJB have come up with the best proposals to develop Sri Lanka. We have an able team to implement a programme to develop the nation,” he also said.   

Mr. Premadasa pledged to come up with a programme to help private sector workers. “The private sector contribute a lot for the development of the nation. Our government will support them and provide them with concessions. We will enhance capital of private entrepreneurs while safeguarding the employees. We shall increase the minimum wages for private sector workers to Rs 25,000, he said in this regard.    Also he pledged to come up with a private sector workers charter if elected to power.
