School uniforms from Chinese government

The Chinese government has agreed to provide school uniforms for children in government schools next year.   

 Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha said this would save the expenditure for school uniforms amounting to Rs. 6 billion   

 The minister said the ministry had already finalized talks in this regard and that the Chinese government would donate the quantity of cloth required..
