Senior journalist passes away

Senior journalist Pradeep Anura Kumara who was the media secretary of Minister of Housing Prasanna Ranatunga passed away.   

Late Mr. Kumara was a veteran in both print and electronic media.   

Having being involved in the field of media for more than 30 years, he was one time media secretary of late Ministers Reggie Ranatunga, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, late Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne and MP Sudarshini Fernandopulle.   

He was born on December 19, 1971 and had his education at Nalanda Vidayalaya Minuwangoda.   

His funeral will be held on Saturday August 17 at Kotugoda Cemetery
