Smart boards to leading schools

Children will have the opportunity to get their first degree at the age of 21, postgraduate at the age of 23 and doctorate at the age of 27

Minister Premajayantha said 2,500 smart boards will be given to all the leading schools in the country between August-September in the first phase.

Within three years all schools will be digitized and connected to one network to provide friendly educational opportunities.   

Minister Premajayantha said that teachers should also be prepared for this and teachers’ handbooks related to teacher training has been prepared by experts and 7,500 teachers will be trained in the initial round.   

According to these education systems, which have been designed taking into account the new world education trends, children will have the opportunity to get their first degree at the age of 21, postgraduate at the age of 23 and doctorate at the age of 27.   

He also said that only science graduate teachers are expected to be sent to schools from the year 2028.
