Sri Lankans to participate in Thai king’s birthday celebrations

At least 73 Sri Lankans who are to participate in the Dhamma Spiritual Retreat Programme to be held in Thailand to mark the king’s birthday left Sri Lankan shores on June 18.  

This programme, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Debsirindrawas Ratchaworawiharn temple in Thailand and Dipaduttamaramaya in Kotahena. Some Sri Lankans are expected to be ordained as monks.
