Two killed in Kottawa road accident

Two people were killed and three others were injured when a Jeep and a bus collided head-on at Mahalwarawa in Kottawa on the High Level Road yesterday morning, police said.   
They said five people had been travelling in the Jeep including the driver at the time of the accident.

Of those admitted to the Homagama Hospital, the driver of the Jeep and a passenger succumbed to injuries.   

The deceased aged 33 and 36 were identified as residents of Meegoda.
