UDA to construct 5, 000 housing units for middle income families

The Urban Development Authority(UDA) has taken steps to construct 5000 housing units for middle income families and newly married couples all over the country. The contract agreements to construct 3000 housing units under stage one of the project was singed at the UDA auditorium with the distinguished participation of State Minister Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Secretary to the Ministry of Housing Sirinimal Perera and Director General of the UDA Prasad Ranaweera.   

Deputy Director General (Projects) E.A.C.Priyashantha, and representatives of construction companies were present at the occasion.
