UN representatives to Kokkutuduvai

• 40 skeletal remains of human bodies had been found during excavations to date

A team of UN representatives on Tuesday(9) carried out an inspection of the on going excavations and the investigations of the Kokkutuduvai mass grave in Mullativu.  Several skeletal remains and parts of a uniform had been recovered during excavations carried on Tuesday by Senor Prof. of Archaeology Raj. Somadeva and JMO Mullativu general hospital Kanakasabhapahti Wasudeva under the supervision of Mullativue Magistrate Dharmalingam Pradeepan,

The JMO said 40 skeletal remains of human bodies had been found during excavations to date and that they had been handed over to Mullativu hospital to be stored in a special cubicle.
