Upcountry train services disrupted

• A tree that had fallen across the rail track between Inguru Oya and Galboda had caused the disruption

Train services on the upcountry line have been disrupted between Inguru Oya and Galboda railway stations last morning, the Railways Department said.  

They said a tree had fallen across the rail track between Inguru Oya and Galboda resulting in  a delay in train services on this track.   

Efforts are currently underway to clear the tracks and restore normal services as quickly as possible.
