Vacation of post notice issued on HQI Thambuttegama Police

• CI Wilegoda has not reported for duty without obtaining formal approval of leave

HQI Thambuttegama Police CI M.Sagara Wilegoda is alleged to have vacated his post from September 09, 2024. 

 The Police Department has issued a vacation of post notice on him and informed him to handover all departmental property in his possession including keys, computer passwords, and the official identity card before October 09. or face legal action.

 CI Wilegoda has not reported for duty without obtaining formal approval of leave.   

The Police Department has served Vacation of Post notice on the police officer in terms of the Public Service Commission procedures and informed him that he will forego the right of re-appointment to the post or pension rights.
