Welfare programmes to mark 40th anniversary of Rukmalgama Housing Complex

A series of welfare programmes including medical camps will be held in the weekend to mark the 40th anniversary of the Rukmalgama Housing Complex, which fell on November 08th.
A medical clinic for elders (blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes) conducted by doctors of Kalubowila Hospital is scheduled to take place on Friday, 3rd from 8.30am to 12.30pm.   
A Dhamma sermon will be held by the Mahanayake of the Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha of Siyam Maha Nikaya Most Ven. Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Thero on Saturday, December 4 at 6.30pm. The event will be held at Rukmalgama Community Centre, where 100 people are allowed to attend the sermon according to health guidelines.   

Rukmalgama Community Centre, Rukmalgama Public Security Committee and Senior Citizen Committee are organising the events where residents could contribute pirikara to the sermon.
