Wheelchairs, equipment donated to National Hospital

Donation of wheelchairs, medical equipment and essential items to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL) were made on May 08 (Wednesday) with the assistance of people of Taiwan, represented by Mr. Peter Fan, Director of Taipei World Trade Centre and Captain Lee Chairman of Taiwan Sri Lanka Business Council in the presence of Past District Governor Lion Lasantha Goonewardena, Deputy Director of NHSL Dr. Samiddhi Samarakoon, Lion Wasantha Wettasinghe, Director of National Youth Services Council and National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority Mr Sathira Sarachchandra and National Coordinator (Teaching) of NHSL Ms. Puspa Ramyani Zoysa, Mr. Peter Fan stated that people of Taiwan are saddened by the news of recent terrorist attacks and are willing to further help Sri Lanka.
