World has accepted government policies: Rajitha

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Rajitha Senaratne said the world has accepted that the Sri Lankan government has led the country towards economic revival.   

“The IMF has advised Ethiopia which went into bankruptcy to follow Wickremesinghe policies. A certain member of the US Senate has also stated that Sri Lanka is a country which is coming out of bankruptcy within a shortest time. President Wickremesinghe took over the country single-handedly when it was plunged into an economic crisis. No one thought the country would become what it is today,” Dr. Senaratne told the convention of All Island Pharmacists Association.

“The issue today is that those who pioneered the economic recovery are criticized locally while they are appreciated globally,” he added.   

The SJB MP offered his support to the government to resolve issues faced by pharmacists.” You can initiate a dialogue with pharmacists to resolve their issues and I will also support such an endeavour,” the MP said.
