DSI Tyres donates multipara monitors to Gampaha District General Hospital

DSI Tyres recently donated Rs. 4.8 million worth Philips multipara monitors to the Gampaha District General Hospital. 


The donation was made on the initiative of  Ranatunga Rajapakse, Managing Director of DSI Samson Group (Pvt) Ltd. 


The monitors were handed over through the intervention of Dr.  Shiran Dias at a ceremony presided by M. H. Wasantha (General Manager of Human Resources at Samson Rubber Products), Amitha Kumara Lokuwithanage (Assistant General Manager of Human Resources) as well as Dr. Saman Senanayake, Dr Mahesh and Dr. Ileperuma.


The multipara monitor indicates heart rate, central venous pressure, non-invasive blood pressure, ECG, oxygen saturation (SpO2) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2). 


These monitors are crucial to Intensive Care Unit and contribute much towards the national campaign against virulent diseases such as COVID 19. “DSI Tyres commits itself to the cause of our society. At a turbulent time like this, when everyone is in the throes of a dangerous virus, we are ready to come forward and help everyone get through.
