Delmar Estate continues to excel

Delmar Estate (Halgranoya) continued to excel with yet another all-time record price of Rs.1,000 per kg for a BOP1 grade in the Udapussellawa region, at the weekly tea auctions held on March 1-2, 2022.

This surpassed its own record of Rs.960 per kg for the same grade set on January 5, 2022. This is the eighth instance in the year 2022, where Delmar Estate has achieved an all-time record price for its teas in the respective region, owing to the exceptional quality and consistency it maintains in the manufacturing process.

This Rainforest Alliance certified estate is managed by Udapussellawa Plantations PLC, under the stewardship of Shamil Perera, which is part of Browns Power Holdings Ltd.
This particular line of tea was marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt.) Ltd.
