Dialog supports Kelani Duruthu Maha Perahera for 6th consecutive year

Dialog Axiata PLC and a long-term patron of the eminent Kelani Duruthu Maha Perahera extended its support to the grandest cultural and traditional low-country pageant of Sri Lanka for the 6th consecutive year, celebrating Lord Buddha’s sojourn during his 3rd historic visit to Sri Lanka. 


The world-renowned Duruthu Maha Perahera was held on 16 January 2022 at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara. 
The Kelani Duruthu Maha Perahera was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Incumbent Chancellor Kelaniya University Agga Maha Panditha Venerable Professor Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Nayaka Thera. 


Dialog, a leading public listed company and one of the main advocators of Sri Lankan culture and heritage, has been a long-term patron of many cultural events, including the Kandy Esala Perahara, Nawam Maha Perahara at Gangaramaya, Baudhaloka Vesak Kalapaya, Sri Buddha Rashmi Vesak Kalapaya at Gangaramaya, Katharagama Esala Perahara, Gatabaru Esala Perahara, and Kotte Raja Maha Vihara Perahara.
