Lyceum international schools takes flight on the wings of 'Lyceum Oceania' launching an innovative project in education, that embraces the culture of a people that dates back over 2,500 years.

The project aims to strengthen the roots of the next generation of Sri Lanka’s migrant population in Australia, Canada, the Middle East, the Asian Pacific and other countries with a significant migrant population.

On 28th September 2021, the first 'Lyceum Oceania' project was successfully initiated in the Australian cities of Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

This unique immersive educational programme facilitates a one-on-one education giving the student an opportunity to experience and learn the language, cultural heritage and traditions of his/her parental origin. Thereby giving the individual a sense of belonging while embracing the diversity of a multicultural society.

Establishing a sense of belonging fosters better connections in the home which in turn will afford the individual a stable platform and the right sensitivity to stay connected in a global world.

The psychological stability afforded by this programme is invaluable. The personalized approach fosters camaraderie beyond traditional approaches. The expertise of the teacher will lend to enriching the learning experience.

This immersive and educational programme is the beginning of further projects whereby Sri Lanka’s hallmark of excellence in education will forge in new frontiers distinctively.
