FlySmiLes Student Club by the SriLankan Airlines’ Frequent Flyer Programme offers a variety of benefits for students pursuing studies abroad.

Students who are already enrolled with FlySmiLes may contact FlySmiLes and follow a simple verification process to get their current membership converted to the Student Membership. Others may enroll in the FlySmiLes Student Club by visiting the FlySmiLes’ website.

Students will be issued a digital membership card indicating their membership tier once enrolled. Members of the Student Club could then expect to enjoy savings through bespoke benefits as they embark on their academic journey.

These include a 25 percent rebate on miles required for excess baggage redemptions to selected destinations, and the eligibility to earn 3,000 additional miles when travelling between Sri Lanka and destinations such as Narita; Singapore; Kuala Lumpur; London; Melbourne; Moscow; and Maldives.

Students who are relocating overseas for higher studies are likely to be anxious about a myriad of things, including the worry of being able to take everything that they need to start a new chapter in their lives.

Therefore, the Student Club aims to alleviate at least some of that anxiety for its members. The unveiling of the FlySmiLes Student Club is part of a wider transformation taking place at the FlySmiLes frequent flyer programme.
FlySmiLes is currently being redefined to ensure that passengers are rewarded for their continued loyalty and receive the very best in offers and benefits.
