Nestlé Nestomalt is conducting the ‘Buddhi Prabhodaya’ webinar series for the second consecutive year, to support the students sitting for their GCE A/Ls in February 2022.

The initiative, conducted in partnership with the Education Department, Western province, will deliver 45 virtual webinars from December 6, 2021 to January 27, 2022.

The Nestomalt Buddhi Prabhodaya initiative began in 2019 with a quiz competition for schools in the Western province. With COVID-19’s entry to Sri Lanka in 2020, the initiative was converted to an online webinar series to empower students to be 100 percent ready for their exams despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Western Province Education Department Provincial Director P. Srilal Nonis said, “As part of our efforts to support the education of A/L students, we are pleased to continue our patronage of the Nestomalt Buddhi Prabhodaya webinar series. We believe that our youth must be given the necessary reinforcement to succeed, especially in the background of a pandemic that has hampered education and we encourage students to take advantage of these sessions.”

“Over the years, Nestomalt has helped generations of Sri Lankan families be 100 percent ready to achieve their ambitions and progress in life. It is a privilege to support education in Sri Lanka and collaborate with some of the country’s most renowned teachers and lecturers to energise young minds as they prepare to face a significant milestone in life,” said Nestlé Lanka Vice President Dairy Ruwan Welikala.

The Nestomalt Buddhi Prabhodaya webinar series is conducted via Zoom and includes revision on combined maths, chemistry, biology and physics. All sessions are recorded and uploaded on Nestlé Lanka’s YouTube channel for further reference. To join the webinars, students can sign up via the Zoom registration link provided on Nestomalt’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
