Swedish-Swiss multinational multi-level marketing company Oriflame said year 2021 has been the strongest year yet on Sri Lanka.

The social selling beauty company that is in over 60 markets, with a diverse portfolio of Swedish, nature-inspired, innovative beauty and wellness products has seen its operations in the island nation grow from strength-to-strength in the past 25 years.

Oriflame products are sold and marketed through approximately 3 million Oriflame Brand Partners.

“We are a community of people, passionate about beauty and fulfilling dreams. Helping people around the world to fulfil their dreams is our mission and purpose. We do it by offering a comprehensive range of beauty products to our customers, with a focus on skin care and wellness, created in Sweden,” said Oriflame Sri Lanka Country Director Lasanthi Fernando speaking at a seminar recently.

Pointing out that the company offers a unique business opportunity for people to build their own business as an independent Oriflame Brand Partners, by selling beauty products and recruiting more people to sell, Fernando stated that the leaders have performed exceptionally well despite the pandemic in 2021, with a significant business growth compared to previous year.

Speaking at the seminar, Marketing & Sales Support Manager Dinusha Abeywickrama said Oriflame is a company which truly cares about preserving nature.

“Because we’re from Sweden, we have a different view on beauty and business. To us it’s the combination of how you live, feel, look and act that makes you beautiful – as a person and as a corporation,” she said.

Addressing the Oriflame top performers, National Sales Manager, D. Samanthilake noted that people join the Oriflame business because they want a change – big or small – and because they have a dream.

“We empower our beauty community to follow their dreams. We believe that starting your own business should be affordable and accessible to everyone. Our business opportunity offers you low-risk entrepreneurship and more. You decide on how to combine your beauty business with your life and you choose whether you want to build an extra side income or grow it into a business of your own,” said Samanthilake.
