The nation’s Truly Sri Lankan Bank, Pan Asia Bank, organised fun-filled Avurudu celebrations along with traditional customs and sweetmeats across its islandwide branch network.

Clad in traditional attire, Pan Asians from around the country observed the customs and traditions and celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year at its respective locations.

The climax of this year’s celebrations was the selection of the Avurudu Kumara and Kumari, which was held on a digital voting system. Pan Asians played the popular new year games along with their immediate team members, reflecting the bonds of friendship and camaraderie.

The most important element of all these initiatives is that different invites were designed to engage different stakeholders in the bank, for an example, newbies, youngsters, long-standing, etc. The successfully held Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations were another initiative of Team HR of Pan Asia Bank.
