Petronas Lubricants appoints GCH as exclusive distributor in SL, Maldives

Incorporated in 2015, Global Capital Holdings (GCH) recently announced the launch of an exclusive distributorship of Petronas Lubricants for the Sri Lanka and 
Maldives markets. 


Co-owned by an infrastructure conglomerate and a group with excellence in technology solutions, GCH’s vision is to enhance the value offering in the oil and energy space via the introduction of the Petronas brand with its decades-long experience and 
technology expertise.


Established in 2008, Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) manufactures and markets a full range of high-quality automotive and industrial products in over 100 markets globally. It is part of the technical resource behind the seven-times FIA Formula One World Championship-winning MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team, responsible for the design, development and delivery of Fluid Technology Solutions with customised fluids to power the Silver Arrows.


Currently ranked among the top 10 corporations in the oil and energy industry, PLI is driving an aggressive business growth agenda to secure its position as a leading global lubricants company at the forefront of the industry. Consistent with this vision, PLI enters Sri Lanka and the Maldives via its exclusive relationship with GCH, with a full range of high-quality automotive, industrial and marine products including Petronas Syntium passenger car motor oils, Petronas Urania commercial vehicle oils, Petronas Sprinta motorcycle oils and agri-related lubricants along with Petronas Greases and Ancillaries and range of Petronas industrial and marine lubricants for an array of applications.


Petronas Lubricants will be available through franchise car workshops and selected direct dealerships of high street outlets and multi- brand auto workshops along with service stations, spare part shops and express lube centres in key locations in the Western province and other provinces.
