Hameedia defends Textile & Apparel title at the Great HR Quiz 2015

Sri Lanka’s leading menswear specialist Hameedia, recently emerged as the winner of the Textile & Apparel category at the Great HR Quiz 2015 Awards for the second consecutive year,. Hameedia’s HR  team members secured 4th place out of 50 registered companies at the overall event. The winning HR team from Hameedia comprised A.T.M Farzan - HR Manager, Hana Saleemdeen - Assistant Manager, Training & Development, Shachithra Gunasekara - Assistant Manager,HR, Nirmala Prasad - HR Executive, HR and Maleesha Kaushini – Jnr, HR Assistant.

IPM Sri Lanka organized the popular Great HR Quiz 2015 for the second consecutive year in an effort to encourage knowledge sharing about the HR community. The event also provided industry professionals with an opportunity to research and learn more about the best HR practices. The quiz brings together a large audience of HR professionals and gives them the chance to interact with each other in a competitive environment. . The competition was open to all private and public sector organizations under the categories of Banking, Finance, Insurance, IT, Software, Telecom, BPO, Travel and Hospitality, Leisure, Apparel and Textile, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food and Beverages as well as an additional ‘Special’ category.
