wOw.lk Partners with MSI for Groundbreaking Gaming Event

Sri Lanka’s leading e-commerce platform, wow.lk announced a partnership with MSI to present the Sri Lankan leg of MSI Masters Gaming Arena (MGA) on the 5th December 2015.
MSI MGA, formerly known as MSI Beat IT, fresh from the success of the global gaming tournament in August, sets foot in Sri Lanka. The event will be backed by MSI, in collaboration with FTW and wOw.lk. The eSports Tournament kicks off at 9am on the 5th December 2015 and will conclude at 6pm on the same day. The video games pit the gamers against each other, according to Gamer.lk, are as follows:
FIFA 2015 (one-on-one)
Mortal Kombat X (one-on-one)
Need for Speed Most Wanted (one-on-one)
TrackMania Nations Forever (one-on-one)
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (one-on-one)
Winners will be entitled for cash prizes and gifts. There will be a number of promotional battles as well, namely, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (5-on-5 with 10 invited teams) and Call of Duty Advanced Warfare (free for all).The tournament rules will be governed by the same regulating instilled by Gamer.lk, Sri Lanka’s premier gaming community. Participants will be entitled for ranking points. On the day of the tournament, MGA will feature the MSI Global eSprts franchise along with a range of the latest games and gaming accessories along with exclusive deals from wOw.lk. MSI Masters Gaming Arena is a global eSporting event held annually. It pits together professional gamers from all over the world, including Korea, Taiwan, China, North America and Europe. This year’s tournament was held in August in Seattle, USA.
