A design to change face at high office!

A group of Diyawanna members affiliated to the government is said to be planning behind the scenes a strategy to replace a personality holding a very high position with a politico of their choice.

Meanwhile, Pohottuwa Diyawanna members themselves are said to be watching with suspicion the conduct of this group who would identify themselves with the government one day, with the opposition another day and would again call themselves independents!

Some members in this group representing minor political parties are said to be eyeing high posts in the government, Pohottuwa members allege. 

These ‘conspirators’ bent on getting their choice from the South as the replacement for the very high post are said to have planned to embark on a new political journey with the latter as their leader.

However, the high post holder whom they want removed to get their choice appointed in his place, being a resourceful seasoned politico, very interesting political developments might unfold in the near future, say the government backbenchers.
