A scramble for top posts!

A scramble for top posts has begun in the Green party behind the scene these days, they say.

The general belief fast gaining ground that there could be several changes at the hierarchy in the event of Saji taking over the party leadership has led to this scramble.

A party stalwart from Kalutara is said to be vying for the post of secretary. But the more interesting news is that an acolyte of the incumbent already holding a high office is reportedly eyeing the chairman post under Saji’s leadership. He is said to have already begun sending out feelers to the Saji group. A party insider watching the new developments quipped: 

“There are no permanent friends or foes when it comes to intra-party politics as well!”
