A typical spoilsport!

A person in his eighties now appointed as the head of a state-owned undertaking to look after an area considered as an agricultural heartland is said to have been found to be just a nonentity who is hardly capable of carrying the responsibilities of his high office.

There had been numerous requests to the top team member handling the relevant subject to replace the man with an efficient white-collar high-up, to no avail.

When a colleague asked the top team member to remove the useless elderly person heading the important state undertaking, he is said to have replied: “What am I to do, machang, when that man has been appointed by Lokka?”
This elderly head of the undertaking does not give a ruling on any important matter because of the paucity of his knowledge about the subject nor does he allow anyone to use his discretion in any matter either, they say.
