This new provincial high authority since assuming duties in the office has made it a practice to summon all Ministry Secretaries to her office on every Wednesday, the Public Day of the week, to provide ‘on the spot’ solutions to the problems of the people calling over there.

Incidentally, the people calling at the Ministry offices the same day seeking redress to their grievances have to go back disappointed due to the unavailability of the Secretaries. 

The affairs at the Ministries to have fallen into a melting pot as the Secretaries are away at the high authority’s office attending to the public complaints, they say.

Meanwhile, the Ministry staffers complain that provincial bigwig’s action has greatly affected the functioning of the Ministries.
