Boss sided him!

At a group meeting of the Opposition the other day, a flamboyant politico from the upcountry had lashed out at a minor political party leader which had led to a verbal duel.  

The politico from the upcountry had charged that a certain action that the minority party leader had taken had brought them all public disaffection.  

Their boss in the chair had observed a studied silence while the heated exchange was going on.   

Their bitter argument had ended only when the minor party leader had walked out of the meeting in a huff.  

Later, the politico who started the argument was about to apologize to the boss for kicking up the row when the latter had observed:   

“It’s good that you spoke out! He deserves the shelling you gave him for creating unnecessary problems for us!”
