A city-based lady envoy from a powerful country has sought an appointment to meet a very high political authority for the last three to four months without avail, they say. 

Meanwhile, the very high political authority has begun criticizing the powerful country concerned in very strong terms.

By the way, an important function was held at the office of the lady envoy the other day. A number of political and white-collar VIPs had been invited to this function and the secretary to the very high political authority was among them. 

When the secretary approached the host for a cordial chat, the latter had launched into a harangue about the failure on the part of his boss to give an appointment despite several requests.

“What is worse is that your boss has begun criticizing our country from the public platform,” she had added. 

A highly disconcerted secretary had quietly listened to the harangue and had left the place at the earliest opportunity he got, they say.
