He is not in the pack jockeying for high office!

When all others are jockeying for a purohita office, a certain former purohita has reportedly informed both the Pohottuwa party and the Number One that he does not want such high office in the government.

However, a story circulating in political circles says that this politico too is among those involved in the tussle for a purohita post!

Even the Pohottuwa high-ups are said to be surprised at the attitude of this former purohita who held a key portfolio in the top team of the Gota regime. By the way, his house too had come under an arson attack during the violence that broke out during the Aragalaya days!

He is, however, back in active politics nowadays, they say. 

The intimates of this Pohottuwa senior, a well- known political figure in Wayamba, had asked him why he declined a Purohita post in the government and he had reportedly replied: “ It is a decision I have taken in the interest of my political future!”
