He lost his face!

A white-collar high-up of a major council had got stumped for words when he was asked whether he had read the Local Government Ordinance and he quietly sat down; they say.

This incident had occurred at a discussion held with political authority in the chair.

The white-collar high-up had raised objections to a proposal made by the Chair of a minor local body for a water supply scheme in his area.

Angered by the objections raised, the Chair of the minor local body had shouted at the white-collar high-up saying:

“Do you know at least the four boundaries of this area? Those who spend most of their time inside glass cubicles do not know the problems of the people. Have you at least read the local government ordinance?”

The white-collar high-up who lost his face is said to be a buddy of high political authority.
