There was a Diyawanna politico who had once made it a practice to pay courtesy calls on the former strongman both in the morning and the afternoon. 

Hailing from a political family in Wayamba, this politico, whose dad too was once a top team member, had looked forward to a place at the top table when Pohottuwa took office.
