It was another Diyawanna convoy!

There was a big hoo-ha when the road traffic on a busy city street was blocked the other day to facilitate the movement of a VIP convoy returning from Battaramulla after honouring the fallen war heroes.  

On hearing about the outcry against the incident, a very high political authority had explained that the road traffic had to be stopped to allow the convoy of the young acting defence high-up to pass through. 

However, it was really another Diyawanna convoy that was involved in this particular road traffic blocking incident and the young acting defence high-up was nowhere in the scene. 

The young politico did not want to shrug off the misinformation concerning him that went viral and he bearded the lion in his den soon after. 

The high political authority in response only smiled and patted the young politico on the back, they say.
