Making hay while the sun shines!

The staffers of an establishment handling Buddhist affairs have in a complaint made to the high above in the regime charged that the head of this establishment is engaged in gross abuse of the powers entrusted to him for his private benefit.

These staffers have charged that the head of the establishment has made it a practice to misappropriate the public funds on various pretexts. For instance, they say, that this high-up is claiming a massive amount as the monthly fuel allowance. According to them, his monthly fuel bill exceeds the Rs. 150,000 mark. 

Accounting for his travelling, this high-up has claimed that he attends his office in Colombo from his home in Kandy, though the fact is that he is residing in the city itself. He is also said to be claiming that he is visiting various sub-stations on inspection to account for the high fuel allowance, he claims.
