More defections from ruling party in the offing!

A rumor doing rounds says that about four Pohottuwa Diyawanna members are set to quit the government ranks!

Though they are to say adieu to the government, they are said to have decided to remain in Pohottuwa and continue to participate in the party activity.
Two Diyawanna members from Digamadulla, one member from Nuwara-eliya area and yet another one who has decided to remain anonymous are among those who are about to quit the government, they say.

These members, a majority of them said to be former state purohitas and Top Team members of the Gota government, are expected to quit the government ranks when the new sessions of the Diyawanna council resume!

By the way, one of these dissidents had walked out of a recent government group meeting after severely criticizing some of government decisions. One of the reasons for their  decision to quit the government was that it had discriminated in favour of a select few in offering purohita office, they say.
