The purohitas from the minority communities had kept away from the meetings at the top table for the last few weeks, they say.

Most of these purohitas are giving the meetings a miss fearing the possibility of the Big boss about to go out of office kicking up some row. However, their official explanation is that they are too busy with electioneering.

As for the purohitas from the estate sector, they are said to be keeping away from these meetings to show their displeasure over the poor response to the Diwali pay advance issue, they say.

The unhappy purohitas had failed to turn up at the last week’s top team meeting as well.

The purohita from Vilpattu, however, had attended the meeting, but upon finding that his colleagues missing, had also left early.

Chances are that these purohitas from minority communities may not attend the top table meeting until the outcome of the big poll, they say.
