Poised to make a somersault!

There is a Diyawanna member who was once the political chief of a province. This member who was a prominent Blue party stalwart in Uva has now got disgusted with both his party and Pohottuwa, they say. 

This politico who opted to back Pohottuwa defying the party stand had reportedly expected to get a state purohita office in the interim government. There being no sign of his getting such high office, he is now set to make a somersault to the Green party!

Now that he is set to join the Green party, he has started secret talks with despondent Pohottuwa Diyawanna politicos as well to win them over as his fellow-travellers. However, some of these Pohottuwa politicos had informed  the party high-ups of the Uva politico’s overtures, they say.

Meanwhile, the Uva politico is set to meet Number Two even all alone to inform of his intention, they say.
