She loses her high post and fails in bid to secure another!

A lady who was functioning as the head of a state-run undertaking was removed from the post quite recently.
The discovery of certain irregularities in some deals carried out by her in her official capacity led to her removal from the high post, they say. 
The political authority above her is said to have posed over thirty queries to her regarding her questionable dealings, but she had failed to give a satisfactory answer to any of these queries. Thereafter, he removed her from the post, they say. 
Later, the lady had tried to secure the main chair of a state-run bank, but a high-up in the government had frustrated her bid, they say.
