They are no longer on talking terms!

Two bigwigs of the main Northern alliance are reportedly no longer on talking terms following a row over ‘manape’. 

One party to this row is the leader of the main constituent party of the Northern Alliance and the other is a former Colombo district Diyawanna member who is said to be trying to be the future leader of the alliance. 

A bid by the former Colombo district Diyawanna member to include in the alliance’s Jaffna district list of candidates the names of two ladies from Colombo had led to this clash. Following a heated exchange, the senior alliance leader had told the other: “Please don’t talk to me hereafter!” The former Colombo district Diyawanna politico had replied: “If that is your decision, I will stop talking to you hereafter!”

By the way, all Northern alliance seniors are said to be up in arms against the attempt to field candidates ‘imported’ from Colombo. 

Meanwhile, the grey-haired alliance leader is said to be playing deaf and blind to all bickering going around him.
