The security personnel of a certain Diyawanna deputy despite been officially apprised of the impending suicide bomb attacks on churches well in advance had deliberately withheld the information from the politico.

The popular politico known to be outspoken to the point of garrulity had later faulted his security men for keeping him in the dark about this important warning.

The deputy’s security chief in reply to this accusation had reportedly explained: “How can we take you into confidence, Sir? You very often shoot off your mouth creating a big hoo-ha in the country!”
