They had caught a Tartar!

There is a top team member who is in hot water these days. He is also facing a No-Confidence Motion moved by the JO.

Meanwhile, some Diyawanna politicos who have embarked on a mission to save the top team member from possible harm are reportedly meeting the colleagues who are known to be arrayed against the much-maligned man to persuade them to go easy on him.

Their main argument, they say, is that impeaching the man could lead to destabilizing the Government.

However, those on the mission had caught a Tartar when they tried to coax the young Diyawanna member now wearing his doctor-father’s political mantle. He had told angrily that they were on a futile mission where he was concerned.

“Most bomb attack victims were my voters. How can I meet them and their kith and kin after raising my hand in support of that man? What you should do is to ask him to resign from his portfolio!”

Thereafter, the mission members had beaten a hasty retreat.
