They knew that he needs good luck!

The grey-haired chief of the main Northern alliance and its legal luminary had reportedly called on the Green leader the other day.   

Given their support for the Green party at a national poll being a decisive factor, the duo had wanted to know whom the party proposed to field as its candidate at the upcoming big poll.  
The reply given to the question they asked quite seriously had sounded flippant.   

“What proposing! I am the one in the race! Have you got a problem with it?”  

“We have no problem with it! Good luck to you, Sir” replied the alliance chief.  

Thereafter, the alliance duo wished the Green leader goodbye.
