Treating subordinates as domestic servants

The khaki men attached to a traffic division in the Matale area are a disgruntled lot being compelled to wait on their boss hand and foot even when they are off duty, they say.

These khaki men have to be at the boss’s beck and call - running errands and doing odd jobs - not only for their boss, but for his daughter as well. 

The unhappy khaki men are afraid to make any complaint to the higher authorities as their khaki boss is said to be closely moving with powerful political authorities, they say.
